Join us for Yahoo!’s second annual Hadoop Summit on June 10, 2009, at the Santa Clara Marriott in Santa Clara, CA, USA.
This day-long event includes participants from Yahoo!’s Hadoop team, Amazon, Cloudera, Facebook, HP, IBM, Sun, and leading universities, and brings together leaders from the Hadoop developer and user communities.
Speakers will cover a rich variety of topics including the current state of Hadoop development and deployment, Amazon's Elastic MapReduce on-demand Hadoop cluster, PIG, Hive, Chukwa, and energy-efficiency with Hadoop. Space is limited and registration is required to attend.
Note: you must register using this site. There will be no walk-up registration at the event location. Please purchase your ticket now to secure your seat.
Students are eligible for a discount using the code "academic_90" for a limited time. Those who register using this discount code must provide the following information in the registration form:
- the student's valid .edu email address in the "Email Address" field
